Who said that eating sweets had to make you fat? Not all are caloric in the same way and it is precisely for this reason that I want to show you how it is possible to cook truly exquisite desserts without sacrificing taste and without being afraid to weigh yourself for fear of gaining weight.

So if you are looking light recipes to try you out during the cold and gloomy days of autumn, here are the 3 proposals that I have in store for you. All light!

Usually, what makes sweets calorie-dense and weighty are specific ingredients, which however do not have to be essential to the success of a tasty dessert. Some light desserts, in fact, don’t, like these 3 we now see together.

The first one I want to suggest is the Tart without cream and without butter; ideal for people with lactose intolerance. A classic but timeless dessert, the pie has many variations and this one is among the lowest in calories. To make the shortcrust pastry, simply replace the butter with oil (sunflower or olive). Then you can fill it with any jam to your liking.

Then mix the sugar, flour and baking powder in a bowl. Then create a space inside, where you can put an egg yolk, an inner egg and the oil. Mix everything well and with the dough make a ball to cover with a transparent film. Now let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. After that, you can roll out the shortcrust pastry with a rolling pin filled with flour, before inserting it into a 24cm wide mold. Then pierce the bottom and fill with jam. Make the classic strips that characterize it and bake for 30 minutes at 180°. Your pie is ready to be served!

Perfect for breakfast, there is another really tasty light dessert: I Crepe with only 2 ingredients, namely bananas and eggs. Start preparing them by peeling the bananas, then cut them into slices and mash them with a fork. Crack the eggs and put them in a blender. After that, break two more, separate the egg whites from the yolks and add the first to the eggs that you put in the mixer. Then mix the banana pulp with the eggs and mix everything in the blender, until the mixture is homogeneous. Then pour 3 tablespoons of batter into a hot pan for each pancake and cook over low heat. Only when bubbles have formed on the surface, flip the pancake and continue cooking on the other side until the light pancake is ready. Now a tasty and super energetic breakfast is waiting for you!

Finally, the last but not the least soft light to experiment with is the 7 donut jars, which is nothing more than a yogurt cake. What you need is 125g of yoghurt of the flavor you want, granulated sugar, lemon, orange, powdered sugar, baking powder, eggs, 00 sugar, sunflower oil and salt. So let’s start with the preparation which is really very simple.

Pour all the liquid ingredients into a bowl and mix everything together with a whisk. Then mix the sifted flour, the baking powder, the starch, the sugar and the grated lemon zest and use the whisk again to mix everything together before pouring the mixture into a 24 cm mold, previously buttered and floured. Bake at 170° for 45 minutes and finally serve, sprinkling a little icing sugar on top. You will have prepared another tasty breakfast or a mouth-watering snack!
